the lux series

okay yall forewarning this is my favorite book series and because of this bias i may be more willing to overlook some flaws in the books, ill try to take a third party view point but i love this book so damn much i probably will just gush on and on. oh well. so the lux series by jennifer armentrout is an epic book series with aliens and romance and really funny one liners. so the books starts off with katy who just moved from florida to a small town in the middle of nowhere, their neighbor (Daemon) may possibly be the most gorgeous boy on Gods green earth- but theres a catch. hes kind of an arrogant ass hat. but when Daemon literally freezes time with his alien powers they are kind of forced to get to know each other. Katy brings out a different side of Daemon and he will do anything to save her. did i mention he is a sexy alien? because hes a sexy glowworm of an alien.

okay so im gonna stop their in order to avoid major spoilers all of the above is general information you would read on the back cover...im not a book spoilin hussie i swear. so one of the many amazing things in this book is how funny it is, all the hilarious combacks in the book keep you on your toes. for the most part none of the characters are dumb or unnecessary they are all witty and well rounded. the fight scenes in this are pretty cool too. if you like some suspence or some girl power scenes this is somethin youd like. everyone pretty much kicks ass in the book however that may be one thing im against with this book. it feels so wrong to point this out but in order to give a well rounded review im gonna bit my tongue and point out a negative. katy the main character is somewhat desperate to prove she isnt weak or a liability almost the whole series to the point where its annoying. i can count multiple instances where her trying to prove shes not a liability and can protect herself GETS HER IN TROUBLE SHE CANT GET OUT OF. its rather infuriating and i yelled out loud scaring my mom several times "SWEET LORD ALMIGHTY STOP TRYING TO BE A HERO" *deep calming breathes deep calming breathes* the second book is probably my least favorite of the series because their is a lot of back and forth do you love me i love you wait jk we cant do this wait we should wait i love you its kinda annoying they dont just make up their minds but eventually they figure their shit out. i think im gonna write an article on my top five book ships so yall will DEFINITELY hear more about kaemon. please please read this book i cant make you but if i could i would. please comment below id love to talk about the lux series more than life. any requests? thanks for reading!
