Dear John Green

so i made a list of little articles such as this that are not book reviews however i feel like they ned to be written. the first on that snuck into my head and found its way onto my notebook under "things to write" was a dear john green article. personal i dont fangirl over authors, i fangirl over their books. as much as i love and appreciate the authors for all the joy they brought into my life or the hours of my day they filled with their writing i wouldnt say i obsess over them so much as what they have written. i never found an author and just because i loved them so much did i decide to read all their work, sure ive enjoyed more than one series from the same author every now and again but in all truth ive never really book stalked an author. until john green. ive read the fault in our stars seven and a half times and each time i cry laugh and scream like its my first time reading that glorious book. now this was sometime freshman year before i really started to love reading. now skip forward to sophomore year where i sit bored as ever in my apwh history class until mrs maldonado assigns us a crash course to watch and take notes on. now these crash course are small history videos (they have other subjects but thats a mute point) that include cartoons and funny one liners explaining events in the worlds history and they are narrated by none other than john green. now as dumb as this may sound it took me a whole year to realize the same john green who wrote the book i swooned over for the seventh and a half times is the one helping me pass my ap test (which was a close call but thats yet another mute point) now i really love listening to him talk i mean this guy makes you feel smarter even if what he is saying isnt all that "knowledge filled". frankly i would read his grocery lists *cough cough get my reference cough cough* so things pretty much kicked off that day i realized i wanted to read anything that had been graced with his presence. so i started of with looking for alaska, which caught me in my feelings in a way that would take a whole other article to describe, i then hit paper towns and followed that up with an abundance of katherines. and each time i read one of his books id have to reevaluate my whole existence because his books tend to have that effect on you. i even had the pleasure of reading will grayson, will grayson (which i highly recommend) on a llllooooooonnnnnnggggggg flight this summer. in short i am obsessed with john green and i suggest you obsess over him a bit too. if you want a journey of self discovery read his books they wont disappoint. thanks for reading
