Under the Never Sky

under the never sky (written by veronica rossi) is a dystopian series that follows Aria a dweller and Perry a savage as they become a unlikely partnership to stop the leaders of reverie and save perry's nephew. they may be complete opposites at first however after realizing they need each other to survive they grow closer and stronger. aria honestly starts off as a wimpy character you will probably want to give up on however when she is kicked out of her comfy home in reverie and banished to the death shop, the outside world that has been turned into a wasteland, she toughens up a lot and becomes more interesting. perrry is a strong independent guy with some pretty cool talents like his keen sense of smell *its a really cool talent until he sniffs the air and realizes aria got her first period....awkward* they should be enemies because the are from different kinds of people who hate each other however as aria learns she is more like perry than she imagined they become a kick butt duo and along with other characters who work to "save the day". so as my first written book review i decided to do an easier book. under the never sky is easy for me because while there were some parts i didnt agree with i thought this book was overall good. it didnt really do anything to piss me off and they had good character development through out. i think that was my favorite part of this book, the development emotionally in the characters from beginning to end. they all changed in some big way whether it was because of the death of a loved one or in order to survive and i admire veronica rossi's ability to show their growth. she really did a great job of creating their personalities and it was easier to follow their motives in the book because i felt like i had a deeper understanding of their actions because of who they were. rossi gives good closure to the end of the series which i appreciate, although it sadened me not all my favorite characters made it to the end i was satisfied with the outcome. this isnt one of those books i got so into i ended up throwing it across the room at some point but it was a solid good book. if youve read this series and liked it i recommend the selection series or the lux series they are similar and both super great. if you have anymore questions or comments on under the never sky feel free to comment, sorry i didnt get to into this one but my friends just trashed my kitchen making grilled cheese and im late for work. thanks for reading
