Sweet Evil

OKAY FIRST OF ALL I JUST ORDERED A NEW SERIES OFF AMAZON AND IT WILL BE HERE IN SIX BUSINESS DAYS AND IM SO EXCITED ALSO IVE BEEN DRINKING WAY TO MUCH COFFEE AND GLEE RADIO IS ON AND IM JUST FEELING THIS DAY. i need to do some yoga or something lord. okay so for some reason i have just happened to read three series in a row that all end up being about angels and nephilim and the devil... idk why it ended up that way i mean i was aware sweet evil was about angels and demons etc but the other two were a surprise (hush, hush and fallen) NOW i have made it clear in my review of hush, hush that i liked the was sweet evil portrayed these creatures much better than the other two. sweet evil is a pretty great book written by wendy higgins about the secret world of angels and demons the only thing is this secret world is going on all around us. anna whitt is a small town good girl who keeps too herself, apart from her adoptive mom and her best friend. anna is pretty much perfect she doesnt lie, drink, do drugs, curse, or do anything bad really "practically sinless" however she does start to experience a pull towards danger. anna is different from everyone else not only because she is morally perfect but because she can see other peoples emotions and feel them for herself. she meets kaidan rowe "the boy daddy warned you about....if only someone had warned anna". im trying so hard not to spoil this. basically she learns her heritage and must embrace it too survive, but will she embrace her halo or her horns DUN DUN DUN. im sorry yall but its really hard to give a snippet of this book... its like i know too much about it to give a casual summary. IM EMOTIONALLY INVESTED. anyways if that didnt really do it for you feel free to google it or just read the back cover. so sweet evil. where do i begin. first of all i need to say there are some sexy fun time scenes in this book along with teens drinking and using drugs, i would definitely say this book is pg13. id feel bad telling you to go read this book if that stuff makes you uncomfortable. moving on. i know ive been over this before so ill just touch on it briefly, i liked the way this book portrayed the creatures listed in the beginning much more than i have in other books that used them. its a much more modern take on all the creatures and their activities *sorry to be vague spoilers be damned* the second book in the series gets a touch annoying when they forcefully keep themselves apart and its kind of like.. umm why tho? you clearly are torturing each other staying apart so just get over it and be a thing already. i felt like bustin a little mermaid *youve got to kisssssss the girl before i throw this freaking book across the room shalalaa* hmm what else did i enjoy about this book. oh i am a fan of supernatural books that are set present day with the assumption humans have no idea these supernatural things are happening, its easier for me to imagine the book that way i suppose. i would say definitely read this book because i enjoyed it, however if you dont think your mature enough for some sexy fun times scenes (im not talking disgusting pornographic material here the way its written is not nasty or graphic but some people may still have a problem with reading it) anyhoot hope yall liked this review comment below if youve read sweet evil, have a different opinion, or have any good book suggestions for me. thanks for reading
